Trump as POTUS47: When Malignant Narcissism Becomes National Policy

The term malignant narcissist isn’t just clinical—it’s chilling. It describes a dangerous fusion of narcissism, antisocial behavior, paranoia, and sadism. Most malignant narcissists operate in personal relationships or small-time power dynamics. But what happens when one is handed the reins of a nation?

We’re watching the answer unfold in real time with Donald Trump’s return as POTUS47.

Grandiosity on Steroids

A malignant narcissist sees themselves as the sole answer to all problems. Sound familiar? Trump’s claim that “only I can fix it” wasn’t just bluster—it was prophecy. From his campaign rallies to his social media posts, Trump positions himself not just as a leader, but as a messianic figure betrayed by the unworthy. His self-image leaves no room for dissent, nuance, or democracy.

Empathy? Optional.

True malignant narcissists lack empathy. They can feign it, but it’s always transactional. Trump’s policies toward migrants, women, the disabled, and even veterans are textbook examples of this. His cruelty isn’t incidental—it’s the point. Whether mocking a disabled reporter or separating children at the border, there’s a recurring theme: the pain of others validates his own dominance.

Paranoia Meets Power

Malignant narcissists are fueled by a sense of persecution. Trump has turned this into political capital. The media is fake. The deep state is out to get him. The courts are corrupt. Even the weather has conspired against his inauguration crowds. This worldview justifies any retaliation—legal, political, or personal—against those he sees as enemies.

Control at All Costs

Where most narcissists seek attention, malignant ones seek control. Trump’s obsession with loyalty, his efforts to dismantle independent institutions, and his desire to purge the civil service (via Project 2025) aren’t signs of chaos—they’re signs of design. The goal? To reshape government in his own image, loyalty over law, obedience over expertise.

The Ultimate Grifter

A malignant narcissist will use anyone to get ahead. Trump’s presidency and post-presidency have been one long monetization scheme—from taxpayer-funded trips to his own properties, to NFT scams, to Trump Media stock manipulation. His followers aren’t citizens—they’re customers. Or worse, props.

But Here’s the Real Danger…

Most malignant narcissists self-destruct before causing widespread harm. They implode businesses, families, or friend groups. Trump, on the other hand, is scaling the pathology—broadcasting it nightly, embedding it in federal policy, and using it as the foundation for a movement that openly flirts with fascism.

The damage isn’t personal anymore.

It’s national.

One of my favorite actors, Jeff Daniels a bright guy, a very good actor, and a solid musician, was recently on Nicole Wallace's podcast, "The Best People". I really liked the song he played near the end of this podcast: It's overall a great episode of her podcast.

When Reagan met Gorbachev in Reykjavík, Iceland, on October 11–12, 1986 during the Cold War, known as the Reykjavík Summit, it was a dangerous time with the US against the USSR. Gorbachev told Reagan as they parted, "You don't have an enemy in me anymore, your enemy now will come from within."

Reagan was strong. Trump only looks strong.

Trump is petulant, spoiled, narcissistic and immensely ignorant.

It’s not about Trump’s posture next to Putin—it’s about the extent to which he’s carrying out Putin’s agenda.

Actor Jeff Daniels, playing Pres. Reagan in the upcoming historical film Reykjavík, has described the moment Trump emerged from that infamous meeting with Putin, in Hamburg, Germany in July 2017, when Trump kicked out the American translator, but allowed Putin’s to stay. There are no transcripts of that meeting, as there should be.

Daniels said what he saw in Trump after the Putin meeting wasn’t strength, but a man who “left the room looking like a child that had been scolded… and told to stand over there.” He that as, "someone who has spent a life observing people, professionally.”

Final Thought

Trump’s presidency isn’t just another example of political corruption or egotism. It’s the state capture of malignant narcissism—a psychological pathology turned into governing principle.

This isn’t politics-as-usual.
It’s personality disorder as policy.

And unless we face that truth head-on, we may never crawl out of the authoritarian sinkhole he's dug beneath our democracy.

How to Do Worse Than Trump—If You Really, Really Try. Oh, Happy 4th!?

Wishing you ALL a safe and meaningful July 4th—Independence Day, when we honor actual freedom, fireworks (apparently), and the founding ideals of our democratic republic (now greatly rejected by the Right, for some reason).

But in today’s frenzied media landscape, those ideals are increasingly drowned out by chaos, disinformation, and polarization.

Even more disturbing are the ongoing authoritarian efforts by Donald Trump and his enablers to dismantle the very democracy we celebrate—while his supporters, lost in their preferred delusion over actual democracy, pretend it isn’t happening at all.

Congressman Adam Smith of Washington state (my home state) has stated that China, Russia, and North Korea are now actively cooperating in efforts to undermine the United States. Criminals and autocrats are uniting, having invaded our government with enough acknowledgement and agreement their leader was re-elected POTUS47, even as a convicted felon. A literal convict.

Sometimes absurdity is our only recourse to maintain and continue...it's why Purpleism was created to support humanity and reject everything that irritated the human body politic and mentality..

Donald Trump’s "presidency"—both as the 45th and 47th President—offered America and the world a masterclass in dysfunction, corruption, and democratic decay. That, is a Kakistocracy. POTUS45 was a warning. POTUS47 has been the confirmation.

But let’s say, hypothetically, someone wanted to outdo Trump in the Worst US President Olympics. Or something.

Could it be done? Oh, absolutely.

1. Install a Literal Dictator

Trump flirted heavily with authoritarianism—admiring strongmen, firing watchdogs, and undermining elections. But if you really want to one-up him, don’t stop at flirting. Go full marriage. Eliminate elections altogether and appoint yourself Supreme Leader for life. Bonus points if your inauguration includes a military flyover and a golden throne.

2. Replace the Constitution with Tweets

Trump governed by rage-tweet; now just formalize it. Scrap the Constitution and make Truth Social the new Federal Register. Legislation by meme. Policy by algorithm. Imagine executive orders written in all caps and misspelled hashtags.

3. Make Conspiracy a Cabinet Post

Why stop at appointing cronies and loyalists? Doing worse means putting QAnon at the head of Homeland Security. Let Alex Jones run Health and Human Services. Maybe give David Icke a shot at the State Department. Reality is optional, and paranoia is patriotic.

4. Criminalize Facts

Trump attacked the media and labeled facts as fake. But doing worse means outlawing fact-checking altogether. Ban science. Make critical thinking a felony. Launch a Ministry of Alternative Truths. Bonus: mandatory brainwashing on Mondays.

5. Go Full Idiocracy

Trump gave us bleach cures and Sharpie hurricanes. But you can take it further. Nationalize Monster Energy. Replace the Surgeon General with a YouTuber. Outlaw books, reinstate leeches. Let’s run the country like a subreddit gone feral.

6. Pardon Yourself Into Oblivion

Trump toyed with the idea of pardoning himself. Doing worse means issuing daily, preemptive pardons to yourself and your cronies. Bribery Tuesdays. Embezzlement Fridays. The DOJ becomes a suggestion box.

7. Declare War on Geography

Trump mispronounced Yosemite and invented "Nambia." So, doing worse means declaring war on imaginary countries. Maybe launch airstrikes on Atlantis. Sanction Middle Earth. Turn the Pentagon into a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

Final Thoughts

Trump showed us how bad it can get. POTUS47 is showing us what happens when we don’t learn from history. But doing worse? That takes commitment, a complete divorce from reality, and a pathological hatred for facts, governance, and basic human decency.

Let’s not find out how bad it can get.

Satire aside, it’s time we stopped entertaining chaos and started choosing competence. Democracy isn’t self-sustaining—it needs defenders, not destroyers

When the Flag Replaces the Swastika: Naming America’s New Authoritarians

Just to clarify, I asked ChatGPT...If Nazis were Nazis, and their American sympathizers are called neo-Nazis, then what do we call Trump as POTUS47 and his MaGA government officials who sure seem to behave like pre-WWII "Nazis" while abusing our American citizens, especially those who oppose them?

First. today is the US Army's 250th birthday. I'm a USAF veteran. But still, happy anniversary Army!
Yes, Trump did his best to co-opt it for his 79th birthday today. Whatever.
It also fell on the anti-Trump, actually, anti-authoritarian protests known as the massive nationwide "No Kings" Protest.

Even here in Navy town Bremerton, a patriotic town in Washington, we had protests. Very positive crowd, peaceful, cars driving by hoking in support. I shot some Instagram video for it.

There were also political murders early today in a double homicide and double attempted homicide.
People—this is America!
We don’t gun down our fellow citizens.
Not over politics.
Not ever.
Ever.

OK, moving on...

ChatGPT...

Great question—and a chilling one. If we follow the logic:

Nazis were the original fascist regime in 1930s–40s Germany.
Neo-Nazis are those who resurrect or sympathize with those ideologies in a new era, especially in the U.S., often outside formal power.

Trump-era officials who weaponize government against citizens, especially marginalized groups, and embrace authoritarian control while claiming to be democratic? They don’t fit cleanly into either box—but here are a few possible terms:

1. Neo-Fascists
Probably the most accurate general term. They mimic fascist playbooks: scapegoating minorities, rejecting democratic norms, promoting nationalism, and using state power to silence dissent.

2. American Authoritarians
They operate within American systems but bend or break norms to centralize executive power, dismantle checks and balances, and criminalize opposition.

3. MAGA-Fascists
A colloquial but increasingly used phrase that links the ideology to Trumpism specifically—nationalist, anti-democratic, white grievance-driven, and hostile to pluralism.

4. Post-Democratic Reactionaries
They’re not trying to revive Hitler per se, but to roll back modern liberal democracy in favor of a strongman ethno-state wrapped in Christian nationalism.

5. Autocratic Nationalists
A sanitized label that obscures how close this behavior can mirror fascist regimes of the 20th century—but still technically correct.

If you want something sharper for a post or slogan:

"Not neo-Nazis. Not even wannabes. They’re the domesticators of fascism—breeding it in red, white, and blue."

"Nazis wore swastikas. These guys wave flags."

"Not neo-Nazis—bureaucratic fascists with better branding."

Here are a few tweet-length versions to choose from:

If Nazis were Nazis, and American Nazis are neo-Nazis—what do we call Trump’s POTUS 47 officials who abuse citizens like Nazis? “Patriots”?

Nazis were Nazis. Neo-Nazis are Americans who idolize them. What do we call Trump officials acting like them while wearing flags?

When Trump’s POTUS 47 officials abuse citizens like Nazis did—what do we call them? Not “neo.” Not “patriots.” Just dangerous.

Nazis wore swastikas. Trump’s POTUS 47 thugs wear flags. Same playbook, new branding.
Want a darker, more ironic tone—or a version with a call to action?

Sure...

Here are a few darker, more ironic or biting tweet-length versions with a sharper edge or a call to action:

1. Nazis had swastikas. Trump’s officials have lapel pins and Bible quotes. Fascism doesn’t need a new name—just a new flag.

2. They’re not neo-Nazis. They’re the 21st-century American upgrade: fascists in suits, abusing citizens under the banner of “freedom.”

3. What do you call officials in Trump’s POTUS 47 regime who act like Nazis? “Neo”? No. Call them what they are: enemies of democracy.

4. Same hate. New hashtags. Trump’s America-first enforcers aren’t neo-Nazis—they’re fascists with PR teams. Call it out.

5. They don’t goose-step—they strut in power ties. They don’t burn books—they ban them.
Still Nazis. Still dangerous. #POTUS47

Four Paths to Tyranny: Trump, Hitler, Capone, and Putin as POTUS47

To understand the threat posed by authoritarian leaders, it’s not enough to focus on one name or one moment—we have to examine patterns. By comparing Donald Trump to figures like Adolf Hitler, Al Capone, and Vladimir Putin, we expose the tactics common to strongmen, mob bosses, and autocrats alike: dismantling institutions, controlling truth, and consolidating power through fear, loyalty, or greed.

This kind of comparison isn’t hyperbole—it’s clarity. It helps us strip away the slogans and distractions to see what we're truly dealing with: a systematic attempt to break the safeguards of democracy from within, using the tools of governance against the governed.

Here's a comparative analysis of five major attempts to undermine or destroy U.S. democratic government, focusing on:

  • Donald Trump as actual POTUS47 (2025–),

  • Adolf Hitler (hypothetical U.S. president),

  • Al Capone (hypothetical POTUS47 as a mob boss),

  • Vladimir Putin (hypothetical POTUS47 modeled after his Russian presidency).

By the way, Truup and his MaGA (GOP) are using addiction and revenge (we all saw it during the 2024 campaign:

The Price of Revenge - Revenge often feels sweet, but what price do we pay for seeking it out? Researcher James Kimmel, Jr. proposes a radical theory: our desire for vengeance operates like an addiction in the brain. This week, how “revenge addiction” plays out in our everyday lives — and on a global scale.

So yes, Donald Trump, the MaGA nonsense are a revenge addiction club. Duh.

🔻 1. Subverting Democratic Elections

Donald TrumpHitlerCaponePutin
Attempted to overturn 2020 election; laid groundwork in 2024 for loyalty-based state election officers and challenged electoral legitimacy.Exploited democratic elections to seize power legally, then dismantled democracy via the Enabling Act of 1933.Would rely on bribery, intimidation, and rigging to manipulate votes, buying off local officials.Uses rigged elections and bans opposition parties; would criminalize dissent and flood ballots with fake competition.

Contrast: Trump flirts with election denial and pressures states; Hitler and Putin systematically eliminate elections once in power. Capone corrupts the system for criminal gain, not ideology.

🔻 2. Weaponizing Law Enforcement & Courts

Donald TrumpHitlerCaponePutin
Seeks to purge DOJ, FBI, and courts of opposition, replacing with loyalists to shield himself and target enemies.Created Nazi courts, the Gestapo, and concentration camps to enforce loyalty and terrorize opposition.Would infiltrate law enforcement to eliminate investigations and neutralize rivals.Has turned courts into rubber stamps for authoritarianism; opposition jailed or poisoned.

Contrast: Trump undermines legal accountability; Hitler and Putin institutionalize repression. Capone uses cops and courts for protection, not ideology.

🔻 3. Destroying Checks and Balances

Donald TrumpHitlerCaponePutin
Openly defies Congressional oversight, pushes for unchecked executive power, and aims to invoke unitary executive theory.Dismantled the Reichstag’s role, banned other parties, and centralized total power under the Führer.Would ignore checks entirely; bribe or threaten anyone in power.Has eliminated independent legislatures and stacked all institutions with loyalists.

Contrast: Trump tests and stretches boundaries; Hitler and Putin abolish them. Capone simply ignores or pays off institutional power.

🔻 4. Controlling Media and Public Messaging

Donald TrumpHitlerCaponePutin
Labels press as “enemy of the people,” spreads disinformation, and promotes propaganda through loyal platforms (e.g., Truth Social).Created the Ministry of Propaganda; banned opposition press; used radio, film, and rallies to brainwash.Would buy or intimidate journalists, spin stories to favor his syndicate.Controls all major media; suppresses dissenting outlets and promotes disinfo at home and abroad.

Contrast: Trump delegitimizes and floods media with noise; Hitler and Putin monopolize it. Capone just corrupts it for PR or silence.

🔻 5. Turning Government into a Tool for Enrichment & Loyalty

Donald TrumpHitlerCaponePutin
Uses office to enrich himself and allies; installs loyalists regardless of competence; gutting oversight.Empowered cronies (Nazi industrialists) while pushing genocidal ideology.Would run the government like a racket—extorting businesses and laundering money.Created a kleptocracy with oligarchs loyal to him; loots state assets.

Contrast: Trump blends self-dealing with authoritarianism; Hitler adds a violent, racist ideology. Capone is pure mafia. Putin merges state and wealth into a personal empire.

🧩 Summary Table

🔻 Conclusion

  • Trump leans into autocracy within a democratic framework, eroding institutions through personalism, disinformation, and legal manipulation.

  • Hitler would pursue total domination, fusing ideology and terror to eliminate democracy entirely.

  • Capone would run America like a criminal cartel, hollowing out the state for profit, not ideology.

  • Putin represents the blueprint of 21st-century authoritarianism, using the veneer of democracy to cement one-man rule with oligarchic power.

Each destroys the U.S. in unique but overlapping ways—Trump the populist wrecking ball, Hitler the ideological tyrant, Capone the mob boss, and Putin the cold strategist.

Have you seen this?

"Lynch: OPM’s hiring plan includes ‘blatant loyalty test’ - Government Executive"

The Pledge of Allegiance is to our flag & our Republic for which it stands? To OUR country.
NOT whoever's in office or a temporary platform. Why are things like this happening now? How do we view these things?

America stands at a dangerous crossroads. With Donald Trump back in power, not as a disruptive outsider but as a seasoned autocrat-in-training, the institutions meant to protect our democracy are under renewed assault—from within. The rule of law is treated as optional, loyalty is valued over competence, and truth itself is under constant attack.

Unlike past strongmen models, Trump doesn’t need to reinvent tyranny; he simply repurposes it—dressing it in flags, grievances, and grievance-fueled populism. What makes this moment especially perilous is how many Americans have been conditioned to cheer their own disenfranchisement, mistaking spectacle for strength. History warns us what happens next—and we’re running out of excuses to ignore it.

What do I support about Donald Trump? One Thing.

Trump has slipped the bonds of justice time and again—dodging accountability through power, delay, and bluster. Now, a convicted felon stands as President 47. It’s not just a legal failure, it’s a moral one. We watched the system bend until it broke—and called it democracy.

Dangerous... Separation of church & state isn’t “anti-Christian bias” but how 1st Amendment protects religious freedom. Gov. neutrality isn’t anti-faith—it’s pro-liberty.
This is Christian nationalism (see also, Nazi Germany).

VA Launches 'Anti-Christian Bias' Task Force, Asks Employees to Report Allegations

Donald Trump has become the first convicted felon to serve as President of the United States, following his inauguration in January 2025. In May 2024, he was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments made during the 2016 election. Despite the conviction, Trump received an unconditional discharge, meaning he faced no fines, probation, or jail time. The judge cited concerns about interfering with presidential duties as a factor in this decision. NPRCNN

This outcome has sparked debate about accountability and the rule of law, as Trump continues to face other legal challenges. His legal team has filed an appeal against the conviction, arguing that the case was politically motivated. Reuters

The situation underscores the complexities of holding a sitting president accountable within the current legal framework.

Wealth Over Welfare: America's Trade of Care and Empathy Under POTUS47 Trump

America's Trade of Care and Empathy for Wealth Under POTUS47: A Critical Look at Trump's 2nd Ridiculous Term...

On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States, beginning his second, non-consecutive term. The ceremony, held indoors due to inclement weather, symbolized the beginning of a new era in American politics. However, beneath the rhetoric of national pride and renewed strength, there remains a central question: How has America, particularly under Trump’s leadership, traded care and empathy for the pursuit of wealth and power?

The Shift Toward Wealth Over Welfare

One of the most striking features of Trump's first term was his administration's prioritization of corporate interests and economic growth, often at the expense of social programs designed to care for vulnerable populations. As POTUS47, Trump has continued these policies, signaling an ongoing commitment to wealth-driven governance.

Trump’s inaugural address, filled with nationalistic fervor and a renewed focus on “America First,” laid the groundwork for policies that further reflect a shift away from care-oriented governance. His declaration of a national emergency at the southern border and his focus on increasing domestic oil production, while touted as moves for national security and energy independence, also underscore an administration committed to business expansion and economic growth, sometimes at the expense of social justice and environmental concerns.

Immigration Policies and the Erosion of Empathy

A key example of this trade-off can be seen in Trump’s continued stance on immigration. His second term began with a focus on building the border wall and further restricting immigration, including the expansion of the “Remain in Mexico” policy. While these measures were framed as necessary for national security, they also represent a hardened stance toward vulnerable populations, particularly refugees and asylum seekers.

Instead of offering compassion and empathy toward those fleeing violence and hardship, the administration’s approach prioritizes economic concerns—namely, the protection of jobs for American workers and reducing the strain on social services. This underscores a broader theme of prioritizing wealth and national interests over humanitarian considerations.

Economic Policies: Wealth Over Welfare

Trump's tax policies, particularly the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, further reinforce the trend of valuing economic power over the collective well-being of the American people. In his first term, Trump’s tax cuts disproportionately benefited the wealthiest individuals and large corporations, exacerbating income inequality. Despite this, Trump has continued to champion these policies, arguing that they stimulate job growth and economic prosperity. Yet, the reality for millions of Americans remains that these policies have failed to substantially improve wages for the working class or address the systemic issues of poverty.

In his second term, Trump has shown no signs of shifting away from this economic model. His focus on deregulation and bolstering corporate profits stands in stark contrast to the unmet needs of millions of Americans struggling with healthcare, housing, and education. This economic framework, which favors wealth accumulation for the few, continues to prioritize profit over the social care systems that could benefit the broader population.

Healthcare: Profit Over People

A glaring example of America's trade-off of care for wealth is in the healthcare system. Under Trump’s leadership, the focus has largely been on preserving the interests of private insurance companies and pharmaceutical giants. Attempts to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) during Trump’s first term without providing a viable replacement resulted in millions of Americans remaining without adequate healthcare coverage. Rather than prioritizing universal healthcare or making healthcare more accessible, the Trump administration’s policies largely favored corporate interests, with little regard for the societal benefits of universal care.

In his second term, Trump’s emphasis on deregulation and reducing government involvement in healthcare could further entrench the private sector's hold over medical services, potentially deepening the divide between those who can afford necessary treatments and those who cannot.

Environmental Policy: Profits Over Planet

Trump’s environmental policies have also reflected this trend. His administration has rolled back numerous environmental regulations, allowing industries such as oil and coal to operate with fewer restrictions. While these policies have been lauded by business interests for stimulating economic growth and creating jobs, they have come at a significant cost to the environment and public health.

The administration’s focus on short-term economic gains, such as increased fossil fuel production, directly conflicts with the long-term health and well-being of the planet and its inhabitants. In this context, the needs of the environment—and by extension, the health and future of the American people—have been subordinated to the interests of wealthy corporations with ties to the fossil fuel industry.

National Security and Military: A Focus on Power Over People

Trump’s actions in the realm of national security also reflect a prioritization of power over the well-being of everyday Americans. His rehabilitation of military personnel who were discharged over COVID-19 vaccination refusals and his broader focus on strengthening the military are emblematic of an administration that places national might over the care of its citizens in areas like public health and welfare. While military strength is often framed as necessary for the protection of the nation, the emphasis on military power without equal attention to healthcare, education, and social services suggests a system that values strength and wealth over the care of its people.

A Divided Vision for America

Ultimately, Trump’s second term as POTUS47 stands as a continuation of the policies that have led America to place wealth and economic power above the needs of its citizens. Whether through his immigration policies, tax cuts, deregulation of business, or approach to healthcare and the environment, the Trump administration prioritizes the interests of the wealthy and powerful over those of the broader population. As a result, the country continues to struggle with deepening inequality, a lack of universal access to basic services, and a failure to address pressing social and environmental issues.

In this context, America has increasingly traded care and empathy for wealth, with the rich benefiting from policies designed to protect their interests, while many Americans face greater challenges in securing their health, safety, and dignity. The question remains: Will the focus shift toward a more empathetic and care-driven society, or will the pursuit of wealth continue to dominate America’s political landscape? The answer will likely shape the future of the nation for years to come.

Objectively speaking...WTF is Donald Trump DOING To US?

Let's review...

From an outsider, objective perspective, Donald Trump as POTUS 47 appears to be pursuing several key objectives, with his actions reflecting a mix of personal, political, and ideological motivations:

1. Consolidating Personal Power & Avoiding Accountability
  • Undermining institutions that could hold him accountable (DOJ, FBI, courts, media).
  • Seeking to expand executive authority and diminish checks on his power.
  • Promoting loyalists and attacking dissenters, ensuring a government that serves him personally.
  • Using government power to punish political enemies.
2. Reshaping the U.S. Government to Favor His Base & Ideology
  • Pushing Christian Nationalism and right-wing populism (e.g., attacking "woke" institutions).
  • Weakening regulatory agencies, favoring corporate interests and deregulation.
  • Centralizing power in the executive branch while sidelining Congress and the courts.
3. Cementing Control Over the Republican Party
  • Silencing or ousting moderate/conservative opposition within the GOP.
  • Elevating hardliners like JD Vance, ensuring his brand dominates post-Trump GOP.
  • Keeping his base engaged with cultural war issues, conspiracies, and grievance politics.
4. Redefining America’s Global Role Toward Isolationism & Autocracy
  • Undermining NATO and cozying up to authoritarian leaders.
  • Weakening U.S. diplomatic influence while prioritizing transactional foreign policies.
  • Encouraging nationalist and protectionist economic policies.
5. Securing Long-Term Influence Beyond His Presidency
  • Installing Supreme Court justices and federal judges aligned with his agenda.
  • Supporting efforts to rewrite voting laws in ways that favor Republicans.
  • Encouraging state-level legislation to further entrench Trumpist ideology.
At its core, Trump’s second term appears designed to reshape the U.S. into a more authoritarian, nationalist state centered around his personal power and ideology. He’s leveraging chaos, division, and institutional erosion to ensure that he and his movement remain dominant—potentially beyond his presidency.

This is who just enough Americans were fooled (MaGAFooled) into believing was a swell idea as the man to hold the most powerful office in the history of Humanity.

Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist and Donald Trump's niece has extensively discussed the dysfunctional nature of her uncle's childhood, particularly in her 2020 memoir, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man.

She describes the Trump family as "malignantly dysfunctional," attributing this dysfunction to their patriarch, Fred Trump Sr., whom she characterizes as a "high-functioning sociopath" who lacked empathy and used his family members as pawns.

Mary notes that Donald Trump's mother, also named Mary, was "emotionally and physically absent," and his father, Fred, was even more so. She writes that Fred "seemed to have no emotional needs at all."

In her book, Mary Trump also discusses how Fred Sr.'s treatment of his children, including Donald, led to lasting psychological impacts. She observes that Fred Sr.'s cruel influence ensured that Donald would have limited access to his range of emotions.

These insights suggest that Donald Trump's upbringing was marked by emotional neglect and manipulation, contributing to the complex personality traits he exhibits today.

So what IS needed to be POTUS?

Being President of the United States requires a unique blend of qualities and emotional health to handle the immense pressures and responsibilities of the role. Here are some essential qualities:

  1. Emotional Resilience: The ability to manage stress, setbacks, and personal challenges while maintaining focus and composure. The president must make tough decisions in high-pressure environments and stay calm under fire.

  2. Empathy and Compassion: Understanding and connecting with people across diverse backgrounds and issues is essential. This emotional intelligence helps in leading a nation and building relationships with citizens, world leaders, and lawmakers.

  3. Emotional Stability: Presidents often face criticism, loss, and difficult decisions. An emotionally stable individual can maintain their focus, avoid overreaction, and lead with a clear vision despite external pressures.

  4. Self-Confidence: Confidence in one's decisions is necessary, especially when faced with uncertainty. The ability to trust your instincts and not second-guess decisions in critical moments is essential.

  5. Integrity: Ethical decision-making and trustworthiness are core to the role. The president must be able to stand by their beliefs, even in the face of public or political adversity.

  6. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to new challenges, domestic and international situations, and the changing needs of the country. This includes handling crises effectively.

  7. Communication Skills: The ability to inspire, educate, and lead the nation through speeches, meetings, and public appearances is vital. Clear, persuasive communication helps in rallying people and explaining difficult issues.

  8. Judgment: The ability to make sound decisions that balance many factors, including short-term and long-term consequences, national security, and public welfare. The president must prioritize and make tough choices without personal bias.

  9. Patience and Perseverance: Political and legislative progress can be slow, and working with Congress or foreign leaders can be frustrating. The ability to persist through these challenges while keeping the ultimate goal in mind is crucial.

  10. Humility: A strong president recognizes the power of the office is derived from the people, not personal entitlement. This involves a willingness to learn from others, admit mistakes, and work collaboratively.

Emotional health is vital to maintaining these qualities. Presidents who are in touch with their own emotions, can navigate stress, and make thoughtful decisions tend to lead more effectively.

'Threat to the republic': How Trump squandered goodwill and sent Dems into resistance

OK, OK, but what about the Trump supporter? Republicans turning on their Party and country, MaGA (Undeserving of a capital "A" in America until they stop their sedition and support of insurrection and their chief insurrectionist). Let's take a quick look at what and who would support such a defective person and criminal leader.

What does this say about MaGA & Trump supporters who relish support of such a "person"? Such a mental patient and criminal?

The steadfast support of Donald Trump's base, despite his controversial actions and statements, has been the subject of extensive psychological and sociopolitical analysis.

Several factors contribute to this phenomenon:

1. Perceived Mythical Leadership

Many supporters view Trump as a larger-than-life figure endowed with extraordinary abilities to combat perceived societal threats. This perception fosters a deep emotional connection and unwavering loyalty.

2. Authoritarian Personality Traits

Research indicates that individuals with a preference for clear hierarchies and strong leadership gravitate towards Trump. Traits such as right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation are prevalent among his supporters.

3. Shared Psychological Dynamics

The concept of "shared psychosis" suggests a psychological alignment between Trump and his followers, characterized by a mutual reinforcement of beliefs and behaviors. This dynamic can lead to a collective dismissal of opposing viewpoints and facts.

4. Cultural and Economic Factors

Economic hardship, cultural displacement, and a sense of lost status contribute to the appeal of Trump's message. His rhetoric resonates with individuals who feel marginalized by societal changes.

In summary, the fervent support for Trump among his base is a multifaceted phenomenon, rooted in psychological predispositions, cultural identities, and perceived existential threats.

But how about as related to the great narcissist's personality defects and criminal behaviors?

The unwavering support for Trump, despite his well-documented personality defects and criminal behaviors, suggests several psychological and sociological phenomena at play among his followers:

1. Cult of Personality

  • Many supporters see Trump as a "strongman" who can break the rules for a greater cause.
  • His narcissism, lies, and bullying are reframed as "strength" rather than defects.

2. Shared Narcissism & Projection

  • Some followers identify with Trump's grandiosity and self-victimization, seeing their struggles reflected in his defiance.
  • His refusal to admit fault aligns with their own aversion to accountability.

3. Cognitive Dissonance & Motivated Reasoning

  • Instead of acknowledging his faults, supporters rationalize them ("he's fighting for us," "he's being unfairly targeted").
  • The more he's accused, the more they dig in, seeing him as a victim of corruption.

4. Authoritarian Psychology

  • Many supporters value dominance, rule-breaking, and loyalty over ethics or truth.
  • Trump's disregard for the law is perceived as a necessary tactic against "the enemy."

5. Desensitization & Normalization of Corruption

  • Scandals become white noise, and his behavior seems less shocking over time.
  • His constant legal troubles are spun as proof of a corrupt system, rather than evidence of his own wrongdoing.

6. Parasitic Relationship with a Demagogue

  • Trump provides his followers with identity, meaning, and purpose.
  • To abandon him would mean admitting they were deceived, which is psychologically unbearable.
Would we like to make a deeper analysis of any of these points?

Good grief! Not really.

I think we know all we need to know about him, and them.

Ending on something humorous...

Why CFPOTUS47 Donald Trump Nominates Unqualified People to His Administration Positions

The purpose of a national leader nominating unqualified candidates to lead major departments or divisions of government can vary, often depending on the leader's intentions, ideology, or political strategy.

Here are some possible reasons:

1. Ideological Alignment Over Expertise

The leader may prioritize loyalty or alignment with their political ideology over technical qualifications. This could be to ensure that appointees are more likely to implement the leader's agenda without resistance, even if they lack the expertise needed for the role.

2. Undermining Institutions

By placing unqualified individuals in key positions, a leader may intentionally or unintentionally weaken the effectiveness of governmental institutions. This could serve to diminish public trust in government or pave the way for restructuring the system to align with their vision.

3. Fostering Dependency

Unqualified appointees may rely more heavily on the leader for guidance or direction, reducing their independence. This dynamic can consolidate power within the leader's inner circle, as decisions and actions are more easily controlled.

4. Cronyism or Nepotism

The appointments might reflect favoritism toward friends, family, or political allies, regardless of their qualifications. This could be a way to reward loyalty, secure financial backers, or strengthen personal networks.

5. Sabotaging or Reforming a Department

A leader may wish to intentionally disrupt or dismantle a particular department or agency they view as obstructive or unnecessary. An unqualified appointee could accelerate dysfunction or make reforms easier to push through by mismanaging the existing bureaucracy.

6. Lack of Interest in Governance

In some cases, a leader may not prioritize good governance, focusing instead on personal or political gains. Appointing unqualified individuals might reflect a disregard for the importance of expertise in government.

7. Intentional Distrust of "Experts"

The leader might aim to challenge or reject traditional expertise, seeing it as aligned with an elite or establishment that they oppose. Appointing outsiders, regardless of qualifications, could resonate with populist or anti-establishment rhetoric.

8. Signaling Change

The appointments could be a symbolic gesture to disrupt the status quo. By breaking away from norms, the leader might be trying to communicate a shift in priorities, even if it comes at the expense of competence.

9. Short-Term Gains Over Long-Term Stability

The leader might prioritize immediate political victories or optics over long-term effectiveness. Unqualified appointees may be easier to manipulate or willing to take actions that more qualified individuals might resist.

While some of these reasons could be unintentional or situational, others reflect a deliberate strategy. The consequences of such appointments often manifest in inefficiencies, controversies, or crises that may undermine public trust and governance.

In his second term, Convicted Felon POTUS47 (CFPOTUS47) Donald Trump has nominated several individuals to key government positions whose qualifications have been widely questioned.

For instance, Pete Hegseth, a former Fox News host and military veteran, was confirmed as Secretary of Defense despite allegations of personal misconduct and concerns over his lack of experience in managing large organizations.

Similarly, Tulsi Gabbard, a former congresswoman and Fox News contributor, was nominated for Director of National Intelligence, a role traditionally held by individuals with extensive intelligence backgrounds. These appointments have raised concerns about the prioritization of loyalty and media presence over relevant expertise.

Critics argue that such nominations may reflect a strategy to appoint loyalists who align closely with the president's views, potentially at the expense of effective governance. This approach could lead to the undermining of institutional integrity and a consolidation of power within the executive branch.

The implications of appointing unqualified individuals to critical government roles include potential inefficiencies, ethical concerns, and a decrease in public trust in governmental institutions. These actions may be part of a broader effort to reshape the federal government according to the president's agenda, emphasizing loyalty and ideological alignment over traditional qualifications.

Would Pres. George Washington Shake Donald Trump's Hand?

I wondered, what an AI might think of Donald Trunp and how Pres. George Washington might view what we're going through, now that Trump has been re-elected with all the baggage and issues he brings along with him.

George Washington

And no, I'm not going to talk about Pres. Washington shaking Donald Trump's hand. Make up your own mind at the bottom of this article. I find it either interesting or entertaining to see what ChatGPT thinks of things. So...

What would Pres. George Washington think of POTUS47 Donald Trump just re-elected with all the baggage he brings along with him?

"In God We Trust" is Christian Nationalism unacceptable

ChatGPT said:

If George Washington were to look at Donald Trump’s actions, particularly through the lens of his own principles, he would likely find many aspects troubling. Washington was deeply committed to ideals of integrity, humility, and respect for democratic principles, seeing them as critical to the success of the new American republic.

Washington valued truthfulness and saw public service as a selfless duty, not as a means for personal aggrandizement. His farewell address famously warned of potential threats to democracy, such as the dangers of political factions (or parties) and foreign interference in national affairs. He would likely see Trump’s approach, particularly with its intense partisanship and divisive rhetoric, as undermining national unity and stability. His reported praise of adversarial leaders like Vladimir Putin over U.S. intelligence would especially have jarred Washington, who emphasized loyalty to the nation and independence from foreign influence.

Washington was known for refusing excessive power, famously stepping down after two terms to reinforce a precedent of limited executive authority. Trump’s approach, marked by assertions of strong executive power and a disregard for certain institutional norms, could likely strike Washington as authoritarian. Trump’s public statements, including his prolific use of falsehoods as documented by fact-checkers, would likely trouble Washington, who held honesty in high regard and believed a leader should embody moral virtue to inspire and uphold the nation's values.

In sum, Washington would likely have found Trump’s conduct in office at odds with the ideals he fought to instill in America’s early government—principles intended to foster a fair, humble, and principled democratic system.

Right-wing authoritarian leaders celebrated Trump's win. That SHOULD give everyone pause, not celebration here. Ben Franklin would be throwing a FIT:

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

America is like the Ferrari of world democracies—powerful and complex, but under someone like Trump, whose lack of focus or understanding, impulsiveness, and emotional decisions could derail long-term success, it risks being ruined when it could thrive with the right leadership.

I then asked:
What action would Washington have taken if Trump were say, the 2nd/3rd President?

ChatGPT said:

If Trump had been the second president, following directly in George Washington's footsteps, it’s likely that Washington would have taken firm and immediate action to protect the young republic from any perceived threats to its stability, integrity, and foundational principles.

  1. Public Denouncement and Cautionary Warnings: Washington would almost certainly have publicly condemned any actions that he believed threatened the republic, just as he did in his farewell address, where he warned of factionalism, foreign alliances, and the corruption of democratic principles. He might have delivered a formal address or written an open letter urging the nation to reject any authoritarian tendencies or disregard for truth and the law.

  2. Private Advice and Guidance: Washington valued diplomacy and caution, so he might initially have tried to privately advise Trump, as he did with some political contemporaries. Given Washington’s belief in a moral and principled presidency, he would likely have counseled Trump on the importance of humility, unity, and honesty. If Trump ignored this advice, Washington’s approach could quickly become more direct and public.

  3. Support for Institutional Checks and Balances: Washington had immense respect for the Constitution and the separation of powers. He might have advocated strongly for Congress and the judiciary to exercise their powers fully to check Trump’s actions if he perceived them as dangerous or autocratic. Washington believed in the rule of law and the importance of each branch of government acting independently to safeguard the nation. This could include encouraging Congress to investigate any misconduct, hold Trump accountable for any abuses of power, or even consider impeachment if serious violations occurred.

  4. Active Role in Political Organization: Though he personally disliked political parties, if Washington saw Trump’s actions as fundamentally threatening, he may have even reluctantly endorsed the organization of a political movement or faction aimed at protecting the Constitution and the values he held dear. While distasteful to him, this step could be seen as necessary to ensure the survival of the nation’s democratic institutions.

  5. Appeal to the Public’s Sense of Duty: Washington deeply trusted the wisdom and patriotism of the American people, often urging them to prioritize national interests over personal loyalties. He would likely make a powerful public appeal to Americans, urging them to remain vigilant and uphold the principles of honesty, unity, and democracy in the face of any leadership that threatened these values.

In essence, Washington would likely feel morally obligated to do everything in his power to protect the integrity of the office he once held, using his reputation and influence to rally Americans and their leaders against any attempts to undermine the republic.

I asked:
If Trump continued his presidency into an autocracy and refused to ever step down what might Washington have done?

ChatGPT said:

If Trump had continued his presidency in defiance of democratic norms, even refusing to step down or attempting to establish an autocratic rule, George Washington would almost certainly have viewed this as a severe betrayal of everything he and the founders worked to create. Given Washington’s commitment to safeguarding the republic against any semblance of tyranny, he would likely have taken decisive action.

  1. Mobilizing the Armed Forces: As a former general, Washington understood the importance of military loyalty to the Constitution rather than any one leader. If Trump attempted to use military power to retain control, Washington might have rallied patriotic military leaders to uphold the Constitution and refuse unlawful orders. Washington’s personal influence and legacy would likely inspire high-ranking officers and soldiers to resist any autocratic power grab.

  2. Supporting Congressional Action and Impeachment: Washington respected the balance of powers established by the Constitution, which included Congress's authority to impeach and remove a president. He would likely encourage Congress to act swiftly and decisively, including impeachment and, if necessary, removal by force. Washington’s support of such actions would add moral weight and legitimacy, galvanizing lawmakers to act against Trump’s autocratic intentions.

  3. Encouraging State Action and Unity: Washington believed in a union of states, and if Trump were attempting to maintain power unlawfully, Washington might appeal to governors and state leaders to uphold the Constitution. He could urge states to resist any unlawful federal directives, leveraging their local authority to ensure that the rule of law, rather than one man’s will, governed the land. In this scenario, Washington would likely champion states as protectors of democracy against autocratic overreach.

  4. Calling Upon the American People: Washington trusted the American people’s sense of civic duty and moral judgment. He would likely call upon citizens to peacefully but firmly resist any attempts at autocracy, uniting them under the values of liberty, justice, and self-governance. He could encourage widespread, nonviolent protests and civil disobedience as a demonstration of the public’s rejection of tyranny.

  5. Forming a Coalition of Former Leaders and Founding Figures: Washington might also rally fellow founding figures, like John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, to speak out collectively. This united front of respected leaders, all advocating for the preservation of democracy, would be a powerful message that Trump’s actions were an attack on the entire legacy of the American Revolution and the rights it guaranteed.

  6. Open Rejection and Civil Disobedience if Necessary: Should all else fail, Washington could lead a national movement of civil disobedience, mobilizing Americans and institutions to reject Trump’s legitimacy as president. This might include legal petitions, organized resistance to Trump’s directives, or supporting initiatives to paralyze his administration until a lawful transfer of power was achieved.

In short, Washington would likely do everything in his power to rally Americans against autocracy. He would consider Trump’s refusal to step down as an existential threat to the republic and a complete abandonment of American ideals. Washington's actions would be motivated by a steadfast commitment to preserve the democratic system he helped create, even if it required unprecedented measures to remove an autocratic leader.

I asked:
What if Congress and SCOTUS then, were as they are now, supporting Trump?

ChatGPT said:

If Congress and the Supreme Court were to fully support Trump’s continued presidency, even as he attempted to establish an autocratic rule, George Washington would likely consider this an even greater crisis, as it would mean the essential safeguards of checks and balances had broken down.

Here’s how Washington might have responded in such a scenario:

  1. Appealing Directly to the People and State Leaders: With federal institutions compromised, Washington would likely emphasize the importance of state governments and the American people in upholding democratic values. He might appeal directly to governors and state leaders to maintain the principles of democracy, urging them to resist any unlawful federal overreach.

  2. Leveraging the Military’s Constitutional Loyalty: Washington was clear that the military should serve the nation, not any single individual. If a president were attempting to hold onto power unlawfully, Washington would likely remind military leaders of their oath to the Constitution rather than to the president. He might encourage military leaders to act independently and refuse any orders that contradicted the law.

  3. Rallying Former Leaders and Influential Figures: Given his respect for unity and the nation’s founding principles, Washington would likely convene other prominent leaders, even retired figures, to condemn the erosion of democracy. This coalition could exert significant influence over public opinion and reinforce a collective commitment to the rule of law.

  4. Promoting National Civil Resistance: Washington might endorse widespread civil resistance, encouraging citizens to demonstrate peacefully but resolutely for the preservation of democracy. He would likely view civil action as a critical means to defend democratic values without resorting to violence, uniting the populace against autocracy.

  5. Documenting and Defending Democratic Ideals: Washington would likely take steps to ensure that, if an autocratic regime took hold, the ideals of democracy would survive to inspire future generations. He might work to preserve democratic principles through written appeals and public statements, hoping to rekindle the ideals of liberty and self-governance in future resistance efforts.

Washington’s commitment to the integrity of the young republic was paramount, and he would view an unchecked autocracy as a dire threat. In such a scenario, he would likely use his reputation, influence, and moral authority to rally every

available resource, from state leaders to citizens, in defense of the democracy he helped create.

I asked:
Would this lead to a coup?

ChatGPT said:

In this hypothetical scenario, George Washington’s actions, combined with widespread public resistance and the support of state governments or the military, could indeed lead to what might resemble a counter-coup or an uprising aimed at restoring constitutional order. However, Washington would likely avoid advocating any outright "coup" in the sense of a violent overthrow, as he was fundamentally committed to lawful governance and wary of armed rebellion after leading the country through the Revolutionary War.

Still, certain actions could escalate in a way that could resemble a power struggle to restore democracy:

  1. Military Refusal to Follow Autocratic Orders: If the military leaders were to side with Washington, this refusal to follow autocratic orders might effectively isolate the autocratic leader, creating conditions where a peaceful or forceful resignation could occur. Washington would likely emphasize constitutional duty rather than encouraging military aggression, hoping that simply withholding military support would pressure the leader to step down.

  2. Widespread Civil Disobedience: Washington might encourage a form of peaceful "coup" through massive, coordinated civil disobedience, effectively shutting down the government’s ability to function under autocratic rule. If enough of the population and state governments refused to recognize the authority of a self-appointed autocrat, the resulting paralysis could eventually force a resignation or restoration of democratic processes without armed conflict.

  3. State-Level Resistance and Nullification: Washington would likely urge state governments to act independently to protect their citizens' rights, essentially forming a coalition of states that function as a counter-government until constitutional order could be restored. This type of state-led resistance, backed by Washington’s influence, could prompt a crisis that ends in the removal of the autocratic leader, either through resignation or a return to elections.

  4. Ultimate Use of Force if Necessary: Though Washington would prioritize peaceful means, he might eventually endorse the use of limited force if no other option remained to restore constitutional governance. This would likely be a last resort, pursued only if all other methods had failed and the only way to protect democracy was through direct intervention.

In essence, Washington’s leadership could catalyze a broad-based, peaceful resistance that might resemble a coup in terms of its outcome—a change in leadership—but his guiding principle would be to restore constitutional governance, not to impose power by force. The emphasis on civic duty and lawful governance would make this an effort to preserve the republic, aiming to avoid the chaos and long-term instability that violent coups typically bring.

Well. There it is. It's not a time of giving up. But of bringing together. Of fighting for what we are and should be, against all that is brought to bear against us in attempting to make us into what we aren't and shouldn't be.

I wish us all well.

By the way...

What Trump did the other day in mimicking fellatio with his mic on stage at a rally was not original for a questionable national leader.

Another autocrat in the Philippines, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte made headlines for such an incident in 2018.

During August of that year in an incident in Tuguegarao, fmr Pres Duterte had placed the microphone between his legs mimicking the act of oral sex. This behavior was widely criticized for its vulgarity & inappropriate nature, especially coming from a sitting head of state.

The act was widely criticized for its inappropriate & disrespectful nature, esp. given Duterte's position as a head of state. It was seen as part of his often controversial & outspoken/vulgar style, which frequently included offensive jokes & remarks, particularly about women.

Duterte, known for his irreverent, blunt, & at times misogynistic behavior, often faced backlash for his comments and actions, though he remained a popular figure among certain segments of the Philippine population. His actions during this event drew condemnation both domestically & internationally for their crudeness & lack of decorum.

In 2021, Duterte withdrew the Philippines from the Rome Statute, which is the founding treaty of the ICC, in an effort to shield himself from an investigation into his administration's human rights abuses.

Lot's more to come from Trump, however. No matter how disgusting we think it is. Because it's all about him now.
